Bekasi is in West Java. This big city is the place that "everythings" was made, because in Bekasi are so many factory. Sometimes people call this city is a commuter city because most of all people in Bekasi are going to work in Jakarta and they transportation everyday is a Commuter Line or KRL. For a living place, calm down, Bekasi has everything. From a cheap house until an expensive house. From a village until a real estate house. Everything is there.
Dont worry for the food. Bekasi had everything too. From fancy expensive food until comfy cheap and homey food is there. The food street is also stunning and delicious for example is Seblak. Seblak is a spicy street food with pasta, meatballs and egg. Its so nice to be eaten when raining season. For the sweet street food there is Pancong Balap. This is a cake that you can request rather cooked perfectly or half cooked. I perfer you order half way cooked. So the top of this cake still can melt in your mouth. Yumm
Other things that you can find in Bekasi is the mall! seriously, the mall is so many in Bekasi from Summarecon Mall Bekasi, Grand Metropolitan, Metropolitan Mall, and Grand Galaxy Park. And the possision of this mall is so close each other. So you can choose wherever you want when you want to shopping. In this mall they have clothes and foods and many more. The last is Bekasi also have Car Free Day event every sunday in a few spot at Bekasi.
Next, there is Enam Monumen Perjuangan. This place is in Jl. Ir. Haji Juanda, Bulak Kapal. This place is a Historical place to visit. It tells a story about how our patriot long time ago. We can also pilgrimage to the patriot funeral. And for the art galery there is Comic Cafe its in East Bekasi in here you can also eat some treats like toasted bread with sprinkles or ice cream.
In Bekasi honestly there is no best view. But there is a place for the kids that in Pasar Modern Harapan Indah. There is a place for kids to play with baloons, bom-bom cars, and many more. In Bekasi there are so many best restaurants either is Riung Tenda its sale sundanese food and seafood this restaurant is perfect for family dinner and the price is not as expensive as other fancy restaurants.And the last is in Bekasi there is evening entertaiment at Summarecon Mall Bekasi name Beatles Night. For you who wants to having a nostalgia time back to the 70's and sing every Beatles song and dance with Beatle's dance you can join in every friday night 7 pm at Downtown Walk Stage at Summarecon Bekasi.
